Can I bring my dog to Pup-A-Palooza?

Absolutely! Dogs are what Pup-A-Palooza is all about. Here are a few, simple guidelines for attending with your dog.

  • No aggressive dogs allowed.
  • All dogs must be on leash outside fenced areas.
  • All dogs must be fully vaccinated and licensed.
  • No dogs in heat allowed.
  • Dogs should play in size appropriate areas.
  • No puppies younger than 4 months of age.
  • No choke chains or prong/pinch collars.
  • No food or treats inside the fenced areas.

How much is admission?

Admission to Pup-A-Palooza is free! We ask that you bring a donation of pet food for contribution to a local food bank.

Where is the Alum Creek Dog Park?

Alum Creek Dog Park is located at 3992 Hollenback Road in Lewis Center, on the grounds of the Alum Creek State Park. If you've ever been to the Alum Creek Festival of Lights, you've been to the park. Click here for a map.

Can I bring my child to Pup-A-Palooza?

Yes! Pup-A-Palooza is fun for the whole family. However, the focus is on our canine friends having off leash fun, so please observe the following guidelines for children.

  • No running, jumping, screaming or chasing dogs.
  • No children inside fenced areas without adult supervision.
  • No strollers or children's toys inside the fenced areas.
  • No food or drinks inside the fenced areas.
